Paris, who will be 20 years old when the baby arrives in October, is maintaining her privacy with details including the identity of the father. According to the Star-Tribune, some high profile celebrities have said they will be attending the August baby shower with the intention of spoiling the baby mercilessly, with or without Paris' permission. Queen Latifah reportedly told Paris, “You’re the Princess, I’m the Queen!” Since finishing fifth place on American Idol, “Princess P” as Ryan Seacrest liked to call her, released a debut album, “Princess P” on May 8, 2007. From Christmas to Country, the season five Idols are still making headlines in music news.  Billboard reports that Elliott Yamin’s holiday album, My Kind of Holiday, dropped just last week on 10/7.  The album reportedly gives some holiday classics the funky, soulful spin for which Elliott is known.  Taylor Hicks has aligned with Artist to Market, the artist services company, for the release of his next album, which is due out February 10, 2009.  Those who fell in love with Taylor by seeing him perform live on AI will also be glad to know that he is releasing "Whomp at the Warfield," a live DVD taped at a San Francisco venue.  Kellie Pickler proves that her successful debut album wasn't just beginner's luck, as her sophomore self-titled CD debuted at #1 on Top Country Albums and #9 on The Billboard 200.  Kellie is the sixth artist in the Nielsen SoundScan era to debut at #1 with her first two studio albums.  All of her predecessors were female, one of whom was Carrie Underwood.  By entering the country chart at #1, Kellie's second album is the 205th chart-topper to come from American Idol. First, we got word that Michael Orland is offering students from Sonoma State a one-day music seminar.  We now have confirmation that Associate Music Director Dorian Holley has just released an album.  This is his chance to prove he can practice what he preaches to the Idols each season! Most likely, this won't be the first time you've encountered Dorian's vocals, as he has quite an extensive history in the music industry.  He has done all of Michael Jackson’s solo tours; he was also a featured soloist touring with Queen Latifah, James Taylor,  and Linda Ronstadt.  He has toured with Rod Stewart, Lionel Richie, Don Henley, and has sung with Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, Usher, Cristina Aguilera, Fantasia, Stevie Nicks, Patti Labelle, Chris Brown, Herbie Hancock, Jon Legend, Chris Daughtry, Mary J. Blige, Joni Mitchell, Jennifer Hudson, Joss Stone, Seal, Chrisette Michele and many, many others.  "Idol" isn't his only foray into television, as he also sings on "Don't Forget The Lyrics".  As if all this doesn't keep him busy enough, Dorian teaches vocal performance at the Los Angeles Music Academy in Pasadena, California. Exciting American Idol alumni news seems to be par for the course these days, and today is no exception.  Chris Daughtry of Daughtry, Carrie Underwood, and Jordin Sparks all received prestigious American Music Awards 2008 nominations!  Daughtry received two nominations, one for Favorite Band, Duo, Or Group-Pop/Rock, and one for Favorite Artist-Adult Contemporary Music.  Carrie Underwood received two nominations as well-one for Favorite Female Artist-Country, and one for Favorite Album-Country, for Carnival Ride.  Jordin received her nomination in the same category as Daugtry, Favorite Artist-Adult Contemporary Music.
