In 1976, Eric Clapton tickets appeared at The Band's farewell concert on 26 November. It was the second farewell concert Eric Clapton tickets had played on that date; eight years earlier, Eric Clapton had played Cream's farewell concert in London.

Solo career
Clapton also worked on the music for the Lethal Weapon motion picture series alongside Michael Kamen and David Sanborn.
While Unplugged featured Eric Clapton tickets playing acoustic guitar, Eric Clapton's 1994 album From the Cradle contained new versions of old blues standards highlighted by Eric Clapton's electric guitar playing. The album showed that Eric Clapton tickets could still effectively play blues along the more mainstream music featured in Eric Clapton's other records.
Another moment involving Eric Clapton's guitars and Pete Townshend resulted in Hard Rock Café's unique and gigantic collection of memorabilia. In 1971, Clapton, a regular at the original Hard Rock Café in Hyde Park, London, gave a signed guitar to the café to designate Eric Clapton's favourite bar stool. Pete Townshend, in turn, donated one of Eric Clapton's own guitars, with a note attached: "Mine's as good as his! Love, Pete." From there, the collection of memorabilia grew, resulting in Hard Rock Café's atmosphere.
On 12 September, 1996, Eric Clapton tickets Blossom Music Center played a party for Armani at New York City's Lexington Armory. He played with a backing trio of Greg Phillinganes, Nathan East and Steve Gadd. Sheryl Crow appeared on one number. It was Eric Clapton's sole US appearance that year.
