About Soul II Soul 2008

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have announced the dates for a 2008 outing of their Soul 2 Soul tour, and for Soul 2 Soul East Rutherford, NJ tickets Continental Airline Arena the first time, the couple will take the show to Canada.

The couple is promising a two-and-a-half hour show, which will feature hits from both of their careers as well as new material.

Soul II Soul 2008 2008 Tour

Soul 2 Soul II trek was one of the most successful country music tours to date.

The tour finished No. 6 on Pollstar's Top 100 Tours of 2006, and was chosen as Major Tour Of the Year at this year's Pollstar Concert Industry Awards, besting a field of heavy hitters including Madonna and The Rolling Stones.

2006 was a record-breaking year for Tim McGraw and Faith Hill as their “Soul2Soul II Tour” left an indelible mark on the record books. Not only was the 73 concert, 55-city tour the highest grossing country tour in history, it was also the fastest selling tour for the first quarter of 2006 (according to Ticketmaster), setting numerous attendance and box office records. In addition, to being one of the highest grossing concert tours of the year in any musical genre, it now ranks as the 12th highest grossing tour of all-time according to Pollstar.

Now comes word that McGraw and Hill are finalizing their plans to return to the stage in 2008. It’s anticipated that the tour will launch in June before wrapping in August. Specifics in regard to tour cities, venues and number of shows, have not been made available as of yet.

"Soul2Soul 2008" is expected to feature even more of the critically acclaimed performances that highlighted ‘06, along with some NEW music and NEW production along with other surprises. The concerts are sure to include songs from their 35 #1 singles (combined) as well as the groundbreaking technology utilized during 2006’s "Soul2Soul II Tour."

Also expected is a brand new sponsor for Tim and Faith in 2008. While details of the deal haven’t been announced as of yet, the sponsor is expected to have an extremely high profile in conjunction with the tour, as well as programs developed specifically for fans and ticket buyers.
