Tickets for three AC/DC shows went on sale today, selling almost as fast as it takes to listen to the band's new CD, Black Ice.
AC/DC's November 9 show at Boston's TD Banknorth Garden sold out within 15 minutes as did the November 21 Columbus, Ohio, AC/DC gig at that city's Schottenstein Center. Toronto AC DC fans were a tad slower as the Rogers Centre took all of 30 minutes to sell every single ticket for the 25,000-seater arena.
But that's just a small sampling of what venues and promoters hope will be a big ticket day tomorrow when shows for Wilkes-Barre, Chicago, Indianapolis, Detroit, New York, D.C., Philadelphia, East Rutherford, Minneapolis, Seattle, Los Angeles, Phoenix, San Antonio, Atlanta and Charlotte go on sale. Tickets for the December 2 Oakland show go on sale Sunday.
AC/DC's new album, Black Ice, which will be sold exclusively in the U.S. through Wal-Mart, Sam's Club and AC/DC's website, is set for an October 20 release.
