Growing up in Katy, Texas as the youngest of four brothers, Black took a passionate interest in music at age 13 teaching himself to play the harmonica and then guitar and bass. He dropped out of high school to play in his brother's band and played the local club circuit around Houston, Clint Black Tickets Texas as he also ventured into songwriting.
