Singer, songwriter and pianist
Sara Bareilles will headline her first solo North American tour this spring -- a run of club dates April 14-30 in support of her debut album, "Little Voice." The album, produced for Epic Records, features one of the top 10 songs in the country, "Love Song" and its follow up single, "Bottle It Up."
Bareilles, recently named an "On The Verge" artist by USA Today, is currently preforming across the country on the VH1 "You Oughta Know" Tour with James Blunt. Her album, a blend of pop, soul and jazz, reached the number one spot on iTunes.
"As more people discover my music it's more exciting than ever to be on the road," Bareilles said in a statement. "Performance continues to be what grounds me -- just taking it one show at a time and seeing new faces at each stop along the way."
Tickets go on sale Feb. 23. Rachel Yamagata will appear on all dates; Raining Jane and David Ford appear on select dates, April 14-20 and April 22-30, respectively.
