Rice quarterback Chase Clement and receiver Jarett Dillard shared the national Walter Camp Offensive Player of the Week honors following their record-setting performance in Saturday's 77-20 destruction of North Texas.
The Owls' dynamic duo connected on three touchdown passes (3, 18 and 4 yards) in the rout to become the most prolific pairing in NCAA history with 41 career scores, breaking the record of 39 shared by Louisiana Tech's Tim Rattay and Troy Edwards (1997-98) and Hawaii's Colt Brennan and Davone Bess (2005-07).
