Pilot Pen Tennis (played between 1990 and 1998 as the Volvo International) is a professional tennis tournament held in New Haven, Connecticut. The Pilot Pen Tennis tickets tournament takes place just before the beginning of the fourth and last Grand Slam tournament of the season, the U.S. Open Pilot Pen Tennis tickets and is played on the same surface, DecoTurf cushioned acrylic. The men's event was first contested in 1985 in Stratton Mountain, Vermont. In 1990 was moved to Pilot Pen Tennis tickets New Haven. The women's event began as the U.S. Womens Hardcourts in San Antonio, Texas in 1988.
