Garth Brooks sure knows how to keep his fans on their toes! His big announcement on July 7th had fans waiting for another announcement on July 10th, only to have them waiting for another announcement on July 14th! Maybe today’s announcement will have fans waiting for the next BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!
The good news we have taken out of all this is Garth Brooks is releasing a new album as well as finally joining the digital world and kicking off a huge world tour which will have him traveling the globe for about three years.
Today’s announcement will come from a fan from Atlanta who Brooks met during his Las Vegas residency. Andy from Atlanta was chosen out of the audience in Vegas and asked Brooks where he would be starting his world tour, and Brooks told him he would be the first to know.
Apparently what happens in Vegas doesnt always stay in Vegas cause Garth is keeping his promise by calling Andy Roberts today and telling him where the tour will be kicking off, beyond that is up to Andy how he discloses the details to millions of waiting fans. Andy is preparing to make his announcement this evening, take a look at the Garth Brooks Comeback Tour Ticket page for complete tour details and schedule of events.
All the puzzle pieces are slowly starting to fit into place. AC/DC’s Brian Johnson has announced the band has finished recording their latest album, the album is expected to be released in early 2015 as AC/DC is prepping for a complete world tour in support of the album. Johnson spoke to Classic Rock about the new album:
“It was brilliant over there. We’re done. I’m very excited and we’ve got some great songs.”
This latest news is certainly bittersweet for fans, as it is also a reminder that Malcom Young is in the hospital recovering. AC/DC made an announcement earlier this year that founding member Young would be taking a break to focus on his health. His nephew Stevie Young has been filling in for a replacement for the time being.
“Stevie, Malcolm’s nephew, was magnificent, but when you’re recording with this thing hanging over you and your workmate isn’t well, it’s difficult. But I’m sure he was rooting for us. He’s such a strong man. He’s a small guy but he’s very strong. He’s proud and he’s very private so we can’t say too much. But fingers crossed he’ll be back.”
Fans are anticipating a huge comeback return for the legendary rockers, with AC/DC Tickets to go quickly as soon as the massive announcement is made. Hold on, cause its gonna be a bumpy ride!
In a shocking turn of events the Garth Brooks Comeback Tour kicking off in Croke Park, Dublin have all been cancelled. Aiken Promotions made a statement a few moments ago regretfully cancelling all 5 shows:

The new album will find the band reuniting with producers Max Martin, Benny Blanco, Ryan Tedder, Shellback and Sam Martin as well as working together again with Gwen Stefani.
Adam Levine spoke earlier about the album and what type of record it was:
“This album is very much all over the place. There’s some stuff on our record that sounds a little like early Maroon 5, and then there’s some stuff that sounds like the newer direction that we went in,” he told us. “We thought we’d get back to certain elements that we’d been missing out on for a while with our original sound, but also bridge the gap with the new stuff that we’ve been doing. I think it’s an all-encompassing kind of record.”
After the album is released it is rumored that Maroon 5 will return to the road for a lengthy world tour. Maroon 5 Tickets page will show details of currently scheduled dates including a July 4th show in Virginia, July 5th in Canada and July 13th in Seoul Korea.

The Who have announced the first of many dates of their 50th Anniversary tour entitled “The Who Hits 50”. Currently The Who have announced dates in England and will be taking the anniversary tour to North America in 2015.
“This is the beginning of a long goodbye,” Roger Daltrey said in a statement.
Not only do Who fans get to see them on tour, but will also be hearing new music as the band has plans to hit the studio this summer to record a new album before kicking off their tour. This would be their first album since 2006 and Townsend has already given Roger Daltrey three new songs.
Pete Townsend made a statement regarding the upcoming tour:
“Trying to stay young,” Pete Townshend said in a statement about the upcoming tour. “Not wearing socks. Growing a great big Woodcutter’s beard. Might even wear a check shirt on stage and get a tattoo of a Union Jack. Always a fashion victim. But under no illusions. We are what we are, and extremely good at it, but we’re lucky to be alive and still touring. If I had enough hairs to split, I would say that for 13 years since 1964 The Who didn’t really exist, so we are really only 37.”
They aren’t billing this as a ‘farewell tour’ but indications lead to this might likely be their last time on the tour bus. The Who Tickets page will be updated frequently with more dates as they are announced
We knew it was only a matter of time before more AC/DC news was to be making headlines regarding touring and new concerts.
The latest and greatest comes from Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis who has confirmed he has already booked three headliners for the Glastonbury Festival 2015. When questioned about who the headliners were Eavis stated:
“Is it a British artist? He’s definitely British, but the band are not British anymore.”
Eavis was at the time watching a Metallica show with manager Peter Mensch who also happens to manage AC/DC. Coincidence? We think NOT! With all the news lately of AC/DC hitting the road again in 2015 this makes perfect sense. Check out the dedicated AC/DC Tour 2014-2015 Tickets page for complete tour information and new details on the rock god’s comeback to the stage!
