A Look Back At The Top Tours Of 2012

As we all look towards 2013 with a list full of resolutions and promises to see more shows, we take a look back at 2012 and what turned out to be an awesome year for concerts!

You can’t talk about having a stellar concert year without Madonna topping off the list! The Material Girl grossed $296 million last year. Right on her heels is Bruce Springsteen and Roger Waters topping out the top three of 2012.

Even Lady Gaga found herself in the top 5 this year rounding out $161 million. Lady Gaga Tickets are still onsale as she continues into the New Year on the Born This Way Ball.

Country singers have quickly claimed their spots on the list, Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw set out together on the Brothers of the Sun tour rounding out $96 million for 2012. Kenny sets his sights in 2013 for a record breaking No Shoes Nation Tour. Already Kenny Chesney Tickets as well as Jason Aldean Tickets have been selling at record numbers.

Even thought 2012 seemed to be the year of the boy bands, we see Justin Bieber didn’t even make the top 20 in 2012. However this might be his year to break through as the Believe Tour will be sweeping North America.

With only a handful of shows in 2012 the Rolling Stones found themselves walking away from the year with $35 million. The 50 Years & Counting Tour 2013 has yet to fully be announced, they will certainly be breaking the top of the list in 2013 when they do!
