The Wiggles Between 1999 and 2003, to test the group's appeal across cultures, Warren used one of The Wiggles ' CDs as an educational tool in a village near Madang, on the north coast of Papua New Guinea. She found that the children there were able to relate to the group's songs, including being able to sing along and to participate in their simple choreography. The Wiggles did not change their material to accommodate non-Australian cultures because they found that children did not tend to have the same cultural identity as adults.
