The Green Bay Packers were established in 1919 and are the third oldest team in the National Football League (NFL). The Packers are also the only non-profit, community owned major league team in the US. The Packers can trace their small town roots back to 1896. The joined the American Professional Football Association in 1921 that would later become what we know today as the NFL. Over the many years the packers have played for the NFL Western Division, NFL National Conference, NFL Western Conference Central Division, National Football Conference (NFC) Central Division and today they are NFC North Division. With that many name changes and divisions it makes they records a little longer. Today they hold 15 League Championships to include (11) NFL-AFL merger Championships, (2) AFL-NFL Super Bowl Championships and (2) NFL Super Bowl Championships, as well as 9 NFL Western and NFC Conference Championships, and 15 Division Championships to include (4) NFL West, (1) NFL Central, (4) NFC Central, and (7) NFC North titles. The Packers call Lambeau Field home since they moved in, in 1957. Prior to that Green Bay called City Stadium (Green Bay), Bellevue Park and Hagemeister Park home over the past years.
